Atlanta Hartsfield–Jackson (ATL) is the closest airport. Renting a car at the airport is the easiest way to get to the venue. The venue is about a 2 hour drive from the airport to the venue. Ellijay is the closest town to the venue and is about 1 hour 45 minutes by car from the airport.

Is there parking at the venue?

The venue has a large parking lot.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The wedding parties will be in business attire, but feel free to wear semi-formal dress. Please no jeans.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We are in the process of (hopefully) booking shuttles between the venue and the Spring Hill Suites in Ellijay before and after the event. Departure from the hotel will likely be around 3:00 pm, and the shuttles will leave the venue at 9:00 pm.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We have to give a final catering count 30 days in advance, so please RSVP before then. The hotel block is open until 60 days before the ceremony.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a room block at the Spring Hill Suites in Ellijay that is open until 60 days before the event. There are plenty of AirBnBs and rental cabins in the area, but this is a busy season, so we recommend booking any accommodation as soon as possible. What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 pm, so please arrive in time to be seated before then. We recommend 3:30 - 3:45.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

There is the option to let us know about any food allergies when you RSVP. The food will be served as a buffet, and there will be vegetarian and meat options available.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Immediate family and the wedding party will have the rehearsal dinner on Friday between 5:00 pm - 6:30 at Cartecay River Brewing Company, but we would love for all other guests to come after 6:30 for drinks and hugs.
