Sunday Market in Victoria (Tianguis)
Located two-ish blocks behind the church, there is a market every Sunday with food, household goods, and knick knacks. Perfect for strolling through and buying snacks!
San Miguel de Allende
San Miguel is a beautiful town that Jasmin and Mustafa have enjoyed visiting! Touristic, historic, and with great food. For those of you who may be staying in Mexico multiple days, we encourage you to stay in San Miguel de Allende. Located about 1.5 hours from the BJX and QRO airports, this serves as a perfect mid-way point to Casa Mendieta.
Santiago de Querétaro
Once upon a time, Jasmin has plans to move to Queretaro... but then she met Mustafa and the rest is history! <3 Queretaro is absolutely beautiful. The main city "Santiago de Queretaro" is still about 40 minutes from the QRO airport, but so worth exploring. If you stay near the historic center plazas, everything is so so walkable!
Leon
We have not explored Leon too much, but it has a bit more of a hustle and bustle vibe to it. It is home to leather goods and has many historic monuments.. and the mummy museum! So you also can't go wrong with checking it out!
