Zach and Jasmine first met in the summer of 2023 at a campus ministry, though Zach knew of Jasmine through their mutual church much sooner than he cares to admit. Zach prayed and looked for an opportunity to talk to the pretty girl from church. God was orchestrating a chance meeting through the campus ministry, which Zach was dragged to by friends, and Jasmine was attending at the time. As she sat alone in the park amongst the rest of the students, Zach realized God was, to his dismay, calling him to action. With God’s help, Zach overcame the terror of talking to the pretty girl from church and introduced himself. As the conversation went on, Zach was impressed with Jasmine’s articulation of the gospel, her love for the Word, and her strong foundation of faith. Jasmine was curious and impressed to hear Zach’s genuine love for the gospel, maturity in thought, and confidence to speak the truth. Shortly after, Zach’s family started attending the home group that Jasmine’s family hosted. Zach was able to swindle her phone number, using the excuse of needing an editor for a paper he was writing. Now that the “chance” meeting was initiated, and things were in motion, Zach was able to win Jasmine’s affections, where their relationship began.

 Since that time, the Lord has grown Zach and Jasmine together and closer to Him in ways that neither of them thought possible. Now Jasmine and Zach enjoy the overflowing blessings of fellowship with each other as they joyfully navigate wedding planning, growing in faith, and building their future life together. 


 He who finds a wife finds a good thing     and obtains favor from the Lord.
