Love at first sight

08/05/2017

We met at a day party through mutual friends. He waved Hello to me as I smiled , thinking to myself "he's the one". We had little interaction at first, but by the end of the night, we had mastered the game of beer pong together, took a boat ride on the bay, and exchanged our social media before going our separate ways. As we flirted back and fourth with each other, we made sure to ask series of questions that would no longer make us strangers. Shortly after that, we decided it would be fun to go Downtown Annapolis with friends to drink and dance. To this day, that's still one of our favorite places to go. We wasted no time and became boyfriend and girlfriend September 23rd of 2017 after our hike at Annapolis Rock. We've been inseparable ever since.

Our Engagement

12/24/2019

It was Christmas Eve, and Zach had planned a day of surprises! He kept all the details about our day to his self. We started at Dunkin Donuts for breakfast and enjoyed our favorite bagel accompanied with hot chocolate. Next, we were on our way to the movies to see a musical. What man sits through a musical you ask? A man on a mission to marry his woman! After that, Zach took me to D.C for lunch at this amazing restaurant called "The Hamilton" where we were joined by my brother and his friend. We drank, ate and laughed for hours before Zach had yet another surprise waiting for me. We explored the "Northern Lights" D.C style. It was beautiful! I thought to myself, there couldn't possibly be anymore surprises today! Boy was I wrong. Zach and I had a mini photo shoot, courtesy of Keith Patrick, just as the sun was setting. We stumbled upon 2 bars before heading back to the car. Turns out, we weren't heading back to the car. Little did I know, the fun was just getting started. He surprised the heck out of me by taking me to the "Enchanted Forrest". Between the lights and music, it was a Christmas Wonderland. We spent most of the night searching for Reindeer and taking pictures along the way. We came across the most beautiful snowflake that I just knew would be the perfect place for a picture, or as Zach would fore see, the perfect place for a proposal. I was completely shocked when I saw him on one knee. I thought it was a dream until I felt him grab my hand , and asked "Will You Marry Me". Zachary is beyond amazing for all of the thought, romance, and adventure he invested into that moment. He has made me the happiest girl in the world. Forever - here we come!
