COURSE DESCRIPTION: When Jasmine was a freshman in high school, she was put in the wrong science course. After two weeks of being in the wrong place, they finally moved her to the correct class--Biology! She walked in, and the teacher pointed at the only open chair left available and told her to take a seat. He then told the class that whoever was sitting across from them was their lab partner for the rest of the year. She looked up and smiled at Will, who was sitting across the way. Who could've guessed that 18 years later, they'd still be lab partners? They were friends for a while, and finally started dating on February 28, 2006. They've experienced so much of life together and continue to look forward to all of the milestones to come!

REQUIRED BACKGROUND: It was December 2019 (simpler, pre-Covid times). Jasmine and Will were home in California for the holidays, and Will had planned a day at the Getty Villa with Jasmine's sisters and brother-in-law. The Getty Villa has always been a special place for the both of them and set the scene for many of their dates. Jasmine's sisters had never been to the Getty Villa before either, and Jasmine was excited to show them one of her favorite places. When they got to the reflecting pool, Will got down on one knee and asked Jasmine to marry him. She said yes, and they were engaged! Jasmine thought that was it, but Will was just getting started. When they got back to Jasmine's parent's house, she was surprised with an engagement party! It was a lovely night, filled with family, friends, and tacos.
