Question

Why Summer Camp?

Answer

We wanted to have a wedding where we could bring all of our favorite people together for a weekend. This is a weekend get-away featuring activities and additional meals outside of the wedding itself. The idea is for everyone to stay on-site together and enjoy the beauty of a summer camp nestled in a stunning saddleback mountain ridge, there will be hiking, swimming and more! And of course dancing and partying! See an interactive map of the camp : https://www.timberlakecamp.com/map/ Having trouble picturing a camp wedding? Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

8/18/2021 NOTE: We are collecting RSVPs electronically. Please RSVP online and help us to get accurate headcounts, dietary preferences, and song requests via our wedding weekend survey using the site below. https://queenofthehill.anrsvp.com/

Question

When should I book my cabin by?

Answer

We highly recommend booking a cabin by 4/30/2021. Any adult cabin bookings after that date will incur an additional $50.00 charge. The sooner you submit your reservation the easier it will be for us to ensure that you bunk with who you want, and it will make it much easier for Timber Lake Camp to prepare for your stay.

Question

How do I use the QR code on the RSVP/Cabin Booking card?

Answer

Step 1 Open the Camera app either from the lock screen or tapping on the icon from your home screen. Step 2 Hold your device steady for 2-3 seconds towards the QR Code you want to scan. Step 3 Click on the notification to open the content of the QR Code.

Question

Is Jasmine changing her last name?

Answer

No, she’s sticking to her own last name which is Souza! ☺️ So, any gifts that require her full name should be addressed to Jasmine Souza.

Question

How Will Accommodation Work?

Answer

Timber Lake Camp offers on-site cabins. These are not your ordinary cabins, they are very clean, include linen service with top and bottom sheets, in cabin bathrooms and of course air-conditioning! These cabins in most instances however, will be shared with other guests. The majority of cabins will have anywhere from 4-10 guests. We will however be mindful of who would like to bunk with whom. With this in mind, please get your cabin mate requests in as soon as possible. If more privacy is essential to you, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate with a private cabin.

Question

Do I have to bunk with people I don't know?

Answer

The short answer is, no. The sooner you book, the easier it will be for us to collect your bunkmate preferences. It is our priority to keep people together with their family or friends as they'd prefer. It is our goal to not exceed 6 people in a given cabin, but if you wish to have fewer than that or more than that, please contact us so we can advise you to achieve your preference. If we know what you want, we'll bend over backward to make it happen! NOTE: The "private cabins" are intended for 1-2 people or a small family. The "shared cabins" are for larger groups of family or friends. The "shared cabins" are quite large and some have as many as 12 beds, so there is a certain degree of space in these cabins.

Question

Do the cabins have A/C & Heating ?

Answer

Yes, they have both!

Question

What Is The Food And Drink Situation Like? What If I Have Dietary Restrictions?

Answer

Friday dinner features a BQ, Saturday breakfast is serving up pancakes and eggs and a taco lunch to follow, and Sunday brunch are all included. (Depending on which Camp Package you have selected/when you will be with us, of course.) All of these meals will be prepared by the camp and served buffet style. We will provide options for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten free folks including but not limited to meat substitutions. Details to come on the specific menus. Saturday night's reception meal will be served by Hickory Smokehouse BBQ featuring, surf, turf, and all the fixins. There will be vegan and vegetarian options available including grilled veggie pasta, veggie burgers and dogs. Once we send out official invitations, and have an RSVP form, you will have the opportunity to make us aware of any dietary restrictions you may have.
