Carmen and Jasmine met the first week of freshman year at Yale. After over a decade of singing together, going to church together, traveling together, and helping each other find lasting love, Carmen and Jasmine are still joined at the hip. One of Jasmine's favorite memories is the time Carmen put together a beautiful tribute video for Jasmine's 21st birthday, which they celebrated with their singing group in Costa Rica. Now, ten years later, they can't wait to celebrate their friendship as bride and maid of honor.
Jeffrey Wigen
Best Man
Jeffrey is Michael's cousin, and they grew up together in Montana. Michael followed Jeffrey to the Midwest for college, and Michael's favorite memory is spending his 28th birthday in Chicago with Jeffrey, his husband Seyi, and Jasmine at the Kingston Mines blues club. Michael also loves eating Jeffrey's restaurant-worthy desserts, and he's very excited that Jeffrey and Seyi will be moving to the West Coast later this year.
Jemima Oso

Jasmine and Jemima met within the first week of Jasmine's move out to California. A compliment about Jasmine's earrings turned into a ride home from church turned into five years of adventures around the Bay. They've decided that they would've been great friends, if they had met as children. Fun fact: both Jasmine and Jemima had an obsession with orca whales when they were younger, and in early 2020, they spent a full day debriefing the cinematic masterpiece that is Free Willy.
Porter Hanna
Groomsman
Porter and Michael have been friends since sophomore year of high school in Billings, Montana. When not watching movies, playing ping-pong, or finding ways to ditch choir, Porter and Michael would spend their time tormenting Madi's boyfriends and breaking into display hot tubs on Grand Avenue. To their parents' delight, Porter and Michael have matured since high school.
June Lee

June and Jasmine met in 2018 at a church brunch. Even though Jasmine was headed to South Africa that week, she and June kept in touch, and they quickly discovered that they had a mutual love for having deep conversations about faith, living out their social justice values, creating art, and honing the perfect photography aesthetic. Through a twist of fate, they ended up spending the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic living only two blocks away from each other. Becoming neighbors during such a tumultuous time was a privilege they won't soon forget.
Drew Reid
Groomsman
Drew is Jasmine's younger brother. At their first ever meeting in San Francisco, Michael knew that Drew would be a great person to have in his life. From bonding over crypto to following college ball, Drew and Michael share a lot of the same interests. Drew was also gracious enough to photograph Michael and Jasmine's engagement session during a family trip to Martha's Vineyard. You'll see many of his beautiful photographs across this website!
Elizabeth Davis

Jasmine and Liz met through their Bay Area church small group in 2016. From hilarious romps around tar-filled beaches in LA to hiking adventures and heart-to-hearts around Marin County, Liz has been a fixture of Jasmine's most cherished memories in California. They share a love of photography, travel, and interior design, and Liz was even Jasmine's first ever photography sale! Knitting together all of these shared passions is a deep, joint commitment to finding the best in humanity.
Miles Reid
Groomsman
Miles is Jasmine's youngest brother. Michael thought Jasmine was the funniest Reid, but then he met Miles. When not talking about their shared love of Bojack Horseman and Bob's Burgers, Michael enjoys hearing about Miles' escapades with his bird-friend Phil. Michael also hopes to one day be as stylish and as cool as Miles.
Madi Bruschwein

Madi is Michael's younger sister, and long before they ever met in person, Jasmine and Madi chatted about how excited they were to be in each other's lives. A famously warm person to talk to, Madi has helped Jasmine and Michael make some of the biggest wedding decisions they've faced, in addition to being a constant source of support in Jasmine's life. They're so excited to call each other sisters!
Mikey Bruschwein

Mikey became Michael's first brother when he married Madi. Their favorite pastimes are grabbing beers at Thirsty Street and swapping dad jokes. Michael and Mikey also love hiking, watching football, getting super competitive in cornhole, and dominating on the pickle-ball court. Their greatest shared love, however, is hanging out with Mikey and Madi's son Charlie.
Chloe Silvernagel

The beauty of joining the Silvernagel family is that Jasmine gets not one sister but two! Chloe is Michael's youngest sister, and she and Jasmine quickly bonded over a mutual love of the show "The Office" and the band CAAMP. (Chloe even approved an "Office"-themed proposal, which Michael pulled off flawlessly!) Chloe and Jasmine can't wait to call each other sisters and to keep the laughs and love going.
Seyi Adeyemi

Seyi is married to Michael's best man, Jeffrey, and Seyi and Michael have been friends since first meeting in 2016. Although Michael loves nerding out with Seyi about physics and jazz, nothing brings him more joy than watching Seyi watch Family Guy. Seyi is known for his kindness and his hospitality, and Michael can't wait to one day repay the favor when Seyi and Jeffrey move out to California.
