Indigenous People’s Day/Columbus Day Weekend

This weekend falls on a national holiday, a time when prices generally surge on all things travel the closer we get to date. Please keep that in mind.

Flight

Houston Hobby (HOU)

We recommend Southwest Airlines as it tends to be most affordable, with the most flight options. From NYC, LaGuardia (LGA) is the only airport for traveling Southwest. From Philly (PHL), there are no direct flights on Southwest. However, it’s still the most affordable.

Bush International (IAH)

From NYC, United Airlines is currently the cheapest flight option into Houston’s IAH.

Hotel

Crowne Plaza: Houston Galleria Area

This is the host hotel for our wedding weekend. Reservations include free breakfast for two or more, based on room size. As well as free parking. Wedding discount is connected to the link and has already been applied via the hotel. If you book without the link, you will be charged the standard hotel rate. Room reservations are blocked from 10/7-10/14 for those who wish to arrive early and those who wish to leave later. Reservation dates can be adjusted when booking. Cut off date for reservations is Wednesday, September 30, 2026. Location of the hotel is in very close proximity to both Friday’s, 10/9 and Sunday’s, 10/11 planned events. No more than a 10-20 min. drive to each depending on traffic. As well as the Galleria Mall, the Aquarium, and plenty of fantastic restaurants.
