Is transportation provided to Xcaret Hotel from airport?
Answer
To make your arrival smooth, be sure to share all your travel info with Yellow Umbrella so Xcaret can reserve your spot on the coach bus. Once you exit Cancun Airport, look for the Xcaret storefront—it’s easy to spot! You’ll check in there while you wait for the bus, which will take you on a 45-minute ride to the hotel. When you arrive, the Xcaret staff will be ready to welcome you and get you checked in.

Is there a dress code?

Our wedding will take place in a beautiful, open-air venue, accessible by a glass bridge over an underground river—so dress to impress, but comfortably! We’d love for our guests to embrace the beauty of our tropical setting with colorful attire; flowy dresses, linen or lightweight suits. Think dressy yet practical.

How will the weather be during our stay?
Answer
October in Playa del Carmen brings warm tropical breezes and plenty of sunshine, with temperatures ranging from 73-86°F (23-30°C). While occasional short rain showers are possible, they quickly give way to clear, sunny skies. The lush greenery is at its peak, making for a stunning backdrop for our celebration. The ocean stays warm and inviting, though it’s always good to be prepared for a little extra sea breeze. We recommend light, airy attire and a backup plan for a sprinkle of rain—just in case! No matter what, it’s going to be a magical and unforgettable celebration!

We absolutely adore your children, and while we'd love for them to join you on your trip to Playa del Carmen, we've decided to keep our wedding day an adults-only celebration. The hotel offers babysitting services, which you can inquire about on their website, should you need them. We appreciate your understanding.
