Jasmine, a North Carolina native turned Pennsylvanian, is a self-proclaimed plant mom and the ultimate “rememberer” in her relationship with Howard. While she’s known for always coming with the receipts (to Howard’s occasional benefit), it’s his unwavering love and encouragement that keep her chasing her dreams. Jasmine’s love language is acts of service, and Howard speaks it fluently by taking things off her plate without hesitation. Together, they’ve created a life where they balance each other perfectly—Howard’s the yin to Jasmine’s yang. From big adventures to little inside jokes, their partnership is filled with love, laughter, and plenty of teamwork. Jasmine can’t wait to say “I do” to a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness with her future Husband!

Howard, a New York native now living in PA, is a passionate fan of combat sports, especially MMA. A loving and supportive partner, he’s always game for Jasmine’s shenanigans (no matter how wild). In their household, Howard reigns as the King of the Kitchen, doing all the cooking, while Jasmine wields the tools as the resident handywoman. Together, they’ve mastered flipping the script on traditional roles, proving that teamwork (and good food) makes the dream work. Howard looks forward to the day Jasmine becomes Mrs. Gainey and they begin this new chapter in their lives!

Vivian (Viv) and Jasmine met in grad school at Drexel University and have been friends ever since. From being roommates (where she successfully got Jasmine hooked on Game of Thrones) to traveling the world together—including a friends wedding in Mexico and her wedding in Croatia, where they swam in the Adriatic Sea—Viv has been by Jasmine's side through laughter, tears, and everything in between. Jasmine has supported Viv through big moments (like distracting her while her husband installed a chandelier in the nursery) and she’s done the same for Jasmine in countless ways. Jasmine is so honored to have her as my Matron of Honor!
Kelvin Loney
Best Man
Howard always wanted a big brother or a younger brother close in age—someone he could grow up with and share common interests. His cousin Kelvin was the closest thing to that! They grew up together and traveled to many places. Howard got to see the world with Kelvin, along with his aunt and uncle—times he truly cherished. There were countless weekend nights spent playing Nintendo games, watching cartoons, hanging out, and waking up to Auntie Grace’s pancakes. Those are moments Howard deeply misses! His childhood was wonderful, but having Kelvin by his side to experience the ’90s—a golden era in so many ways—made it even more special. Howard feels blessed and thankful to have this amazing person as his cousin, his friend, and most of all, his best man on this special day!

Honorary Matron of Honor
Marquita (Quita) and Jasmine have been besties since undergraduate. However, apparently Jasmine has stalked Quita for majority of her life, by following her to the same Elementary, Middle, High School, and Undergraduate Institution. Jasmine just likes to think of it as the universe telling them they needed to be friends. And finally in college they officially became friends and ultimately Best Fraaaanz! Throughout the years they have laughed together, cried together, traveled together, and even ran a 5k together!! Now Quita gets to virtually stand beside (in spirit from miles away) her stalker as she marries her person!
