6th May 2026 As our wedding is overseas, RSVPs are due earlier than usual.
As much as we would love to have everyones kids at the wedding, due to numbers we have chosen to keep it child free. Kids are however welcome to the welcome and recovery events.
Yes! If you are staying at Komune they have experienced and trusted nannies who are familiar with hotel environments and used to supporting families during events and weddings. You can book them at a rate of 100,000IDR/hr/child, this currently equates to approx $8.80/hr. This booking can be made at rdm.bali@komuneresorts.com up to 24hrs prior however the more notice the better.
Hotel Komune is approx 50mins from the International Airport. Transfers can be arranged through your accommodation on booking, otherwise there are options similar to uber called 'gojek' and 'grab' that you can utilise. If you were more keen on a private transfer we do have a contact that we usually use when we are in Bali and can get you in touch with them.
Early November in Bali is very warm and humid. Expect temperatures between 26-32 degrees celcius & 70-85% humidity. It is more comfortable in the late afternoon/evening, light breathable clothing is reccommended! This is the shoulder season for wet weather, there can be a downpour late afternoon or evening for a short time.
TBA
Please aim to arrive 15mins prior to the ceremony.
Yes, if you are flying in from Australia this can be completed as a VOA (visa on arrival) when you arrive or online up to 3 days prior. Please be very careful if you are going to complete your VOA online that you are on the correct website, there are scamming websites that look similar. The cost of the VOA is approx $50AUD.
Absolutely! There are excellent international hospitals on Bali however we always reccommend travel insurance & never travel without it.
The local currency is Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), the rate will likely change before November but currently 100,000 IDR = $8.55 AUD. Credit/debit cards - Visa, Mastercard & Amex are widely accepted at hotels, resorts, restaurants and retail outlets. Cash is still useful for small purchases, markets, tips and local cafes. AUD is not commonly used, there are a lot of money changers available. Ensure you count exactly how much money you've received before you leave the money counter and don't always go for the money exchange that has the highest rate - if its too good to be true than it probably is! Tips - not mandatory however small tips in cash for good service are appreciated.
Wifi is widely available on Bali, you can also purchase esims online that can be useful if you would like a sim.
Having you with us in Bali is the only gift we need! Just bring yourself and some good vibes.
