Private stairway from the Villa straight to the beach! Playa de los Muertos is Puerto Vallarta's most iconic and vibrant beach. Located in the heart of the Romantic Zone (Old Town), it is famous for its golden sands, energetic beach clubs, fresh seafood, and the iconic, sail-shaped pier that illuminates beautifully at night. You can reach the Malecon, markets, etc. by walking the beach as well.
It's about a 34 minute Uber or Taxi ride from Villa Verano It's a nice facility and a relaxing time strolling through the gardens & buildings, there is also a restaurant and gift shop on the grounds.
A fun Farmers Market in Romantic Zone. Lots of handmade and home made arts and crafts and fresh foods. 8:30am-2:00pm every Saturday
Take about a 30 minute bus or taxi ride from the Villa Verano to the village of Boca de Tomatlan and then catch a panga, (a small boat), at the beach there to Yelapa (no roads to Yelapa). Be sure to arrange a return trip with the boat driver.
Stroll the Malecon (a walkway) along the bay day or night. See all the interesting art work, sand sculptures, and people watching along the way as well as the beautiful Cathedral of Our Lady of Guadalupe!
Take the stairs from the Malecon foot bridge down to the River Cuale walk. Lots of shopping at the various souvenir and craft booths. Watch for the cute iguanas in the trees!
Take a 12 minute Uber or taxi ride from Villa Verano to this outdoor music venue. It's on the river and has live bands every day of the week (no cover charge), typically from 3:00pm to 6:00pm or 7:00pm, check their website to confirm times and featured bands. Be sure to put your dancing flip flops on!
