Question

What is Villa Verano? What is Villa Verano?

Answer

Think of Villa Verano, "Summer House," as our own private beachfront resort for the week. Perched on a cliff overlooking Banderas Bay and all of PV coastline, the estate feature stunning ocean views a private staircase to the soft-sand swimming beach. The pool, bar, beach club, multiple private Casitas, and 22 staff are all reserved exclusively for our wedding guests. The Villa Verano website and social media pages include photos, room, details and video walk-throughs if you'd like a closer look before the trip. www.villaverano.com IG: veranopv & villaveranovallarta

Question

I am attending solo - can I share a room with someone to reduce the cost?I am attending solo - can I share a room with someone to reduce the cost?

Answer

Absolutely! Room rates are priced per room, not per person, so you are welcome to split the cost and share a space. Property rules state no more than two people per room. Many rooms have two queen beds, and some casita king beds can be converted into two twins. Just note that you are sharing - and who it is with - in your RSVP and we'll be sure to assign an appropriate room to you both!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes - when you RSVP there is a place to note. Please ensure we are aware of allergies or dietary needs ASAP as we will be creating the menu of meals at least a month ahead of time for the entire week. It is no problem to adapt and add options - but we need to plan before the staff grocery shop.

Question

I'm a hungry person. Will there be food available at the villa?I'm a hungry person. Will there be food available at the villa?

Answer

Yes! We will have a full chef and bartending staff on site throughout the week. Brunch will be served daily at 10am and dinner will be served each evening at 6pm. Between meals, the staff can prepare snacks and light bites based on the food available at the villa. Coffee and tea will be available at first light every morning (Jen will be sure of it). Jennie and Adam will work with the staff to plan drinks and food for the villa before everyone arrives. If you have a favorite drink, meal or snack request, dietary restrictions, or any other suggestions - please let us know! We'd love to tailor the menu to our guests as much as possible.

Question

Is there a dress code?Is there a dress code?

Answer

For the week: think resort casual. Whatever makes you comfortable and vacation-ready. There are no strict dress code requirement - we want everyone to be relaxed and enjoying paradise. Friday: White Party Night! If possible - pack something white to join us in this fun tropical-Mexico unity tradition we are embracing. For the wedding: we are aiming for formal-ish tropical elegance. Feel free to dress up, but no need for black-tie attire. If you'd like to lean into the wedding vibe, our colors are earth tones. Think shades of greens, blues, oranges, etc. and a hint of gold. But this is completely optional. Wear whatever colors make you happy! As for weather, December in PV is pretty dreamy. Expect warm sunny days in the upper 70s to low 80s, cooler evenings in the upper 60s, low humidity, and very little rain. We recommend bringing a light layer for dinners outside by the ocean, and sun protection for daytime adventures.

Question

Will I need pesos (cash) during my stay? Will I need pesos (cash) during my stay?

Answer

No cash is needed while at the villa - all food, drinks and tips are included with your stay. However, if you want to walk to the shops and bars/restaurants in the Romantic Zone (about a 10 minute walk on the beach), or buy from the beach vendors then do bring some pesos. (they will take U.S. dollars but they prefer pesos)

Question

Do I have to take a taxi back to the airport when I depart or is Uber available?Do I have to take a taxi back to the airport when I depart or is Uber available?

Answer

Uber is available and reliable in Puerto Vallarta and Uber is allowed to enter the drop off area at the airport. It is less expensive to take Uber.

Question

Are you registered? Where? Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Head to: www.honeyfund.com/site/jasinek1212 for our registry page. Donations to our two selected nonprofits are our preference. If you are attending the wedding - no gifts. Your presence is our present. Honestly, if you skip a gift entirely and instead pick up litter on a walk, recycle something properly, spend time outside, provide a random act of kindness, or do one small thing that makes the world a little bit better - we would consider that a gift to us too.
