Manveer and Jasleen’s love story began in October 2021, when they both decided to swipe right on Dil Mil! Dil Mil is an Indian matchmaking app that is popular among Indians and millennials. Soon after matching, they exchanged contact information, and they never stopped chatting since then! Since Manveer lives in Boston and Jasleen is in NY, they would speak on the phone and video chat regularly to keep in touch. In December, Manveer made a trip to NYC just to meet Jasleen in person! Since they are both major foodies, Jasleen planned a Chinatown food tour for their first date. They went to eat dumplings and Joe’s Steamed Rice Roll, bubble tea in Columbus Park, tea at Sweet Moment Cafe, and finished the evening with a spectacular colorful view of the Oculus Downtown! Long distance has been made possible by good ol’ video chat and virtual dinner dates. On Manveer’s second trip to NYC, he was able to meet Jasleen’s family. They all had a wonderful time and made pizza together! A few months later, on April 23rd, Manveer popped the question to Jasleen, and we all know what her answer was :) Manveer and Jasleen love spending time with their family, having culinary adventures in the kitchen, chatting over coffee/chai/bubble tea, trying new restaurants, and of course, planning their wedding! They are so excited to celebrate this life journey together, and feel so incredibly blessed to begin this new chapter surrounded by their family and friends.
