Sister and best friend of the bride, Lauren (Lala) has been Jasmine's rock. It's a bit easier to write out how important she is, because I'm sure they will both be in tears when toasts come along (at least that's the track record). Despite age difference and distance, Lala and Jas have the closest possible friendship. They have a unique ability to be silly, serious, and silent together. Lala knows when to provide a shoulder to cry on, when to pass the cookie dough, and when to tell Jas to "get it together." They've shared dreams of owning a duplex, opening a ceramics shop, and starting a band... really any way they can spend more time together, because there's no better place to be. Jasmine cannot think of someone better suited to stand beside her than the person that always has.
Josh Matsuya
Best Man
Josh and AJ grew up together in Canberra, Australia. AJ and Josh sang together in choirs and have a fantastic duet of Me and My Shadow. Josh and Hitomi flew up to Virginia to surprise AJ on his 30th birthday! They were also at Josh's wedding where AJ was the officiant! Josh and AJ have a fantastic friendship that has gone for 14 years so far and has been across many countries (Mongolia for one). Josh currently lives in Louisiana with his wife Hitomi.
Anna Reyes

Anna is Jas' oldest sister. She has long been someone Jasmine has looked up to for both her sense of adventure and foundation in Christ. Some of Jas' fondest memories with Anna is being goofy in their grandma Carole's kitchen while baking and praying over the phone together. Jas became Aunt Jazzy because of Anna and grew in her faith as a result of the example Anna set and for that Jasmine will forever be grateful!
Jason Beckendorf
Groomsman
AJ and Jason met at James Madison University at an Alpha Phi Omega mixer and quickly became friends. They became roommates and ran EMS calls together at Rescue 40 in Harrisonburg. Jason does a great job in keeping AJ accountable, both on and off the ambulance. Jason has a 5 month old newborn named Quinn with his wife Mallory and they currently reside in Roanoke, VA.
Kelly Melnick
Bridesmaid
First memories that come to mind when Jasmine thinks of Kelly are cruising in Kelly's jeep, listening to "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-a-Lot and drinking Slurpees. Kelly has always been a sister to talk to about practically anything, home renovations to childhood crushes. Kelly is one of the most thoughtful and creative people Jas knows. She has even gifted the wedding cake everyone will enjoy at the reception! Jas & AJ are so happy to have her up there beside them on this special day!
Jordan Heinrichs

AJ and Jordan met at a contracting company and both got placed at Savannah River Nuclear Site on the same contract. They still play video games together and code together! Jordan has 3 children with his wife Stephanie and they currently live in Virginia Beach, VA.
