The wait is finally over

It all started at Miami University at a house named Pen Island. After that welcome BBQ, they bumped into each other a few times until finally at track prom, they had their first real conversation. A week later, Jarrod called and asked for Laura's number. The rest is history. The journey continued in Cincinnati where Jarrod started his first job and Laura joined him 2 years later for medical school. In 2019, Jarrod bought tickets to Vivaldi for Laura's Christmas present. On their way to Music Hall, Jarrod proposed in Washington Park on a quiet, snowy January night. Despite not getting to see Vivaldi, Laura said yes. The surprises kept coming when Jarrod had their families waiting for them at a local bar. The rest of the year involved a lot of planning, a lot of traveling, and by March 2020, they were ready to tie the knot. As you know, the world had other plans. In the midst of the pandemic, Laura and Jarrod married on their original wedding date overlooking Cincinnati's skyline. They moved to Indianapolis a month later and started their lives, hopeful they would get to celebrate with friends one day. As the pandemic raged on, life continued with Laura starting residency, Jarrod's transition to working from home and the arrival of their son, Emmett, in June 2021. Now, it's finally time to celebrate two years later with the family and friends. We cannot wait.
