Of course we don't want anyone to miss out on the fun, so yes kids are definitely allowed, BUT if you think that having your kids at the wedding will take away from your fun then leave them at home. Jaron and I expect everyone to have the night of their lives and fully enjoy themselves!! We are more than happy to help arrange a babysitter for the night!
If you are lost, confused, or unsure of anything, please do not hesitate to reach out to Jaron or I. If we are not available then feel free to call my mom, dad, or cousin Summer! They know AZ like the back of their hands and can help with any questions or recommendations you need/have! This is totally up to you and your family. Personally, I love staying in an AirBnb or VRBO because it is more comfortable and feels like home. Most rentals are usually equipped with a kitchen and other amenities, making it easier to enjoy some meals and down time at home! On the other hand, if you are a hotel person then Scottsdale has a tremendous amount of hotels!
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat. After the ceremony, please feel free to kick off your heels and take off your coats! Get ready to dance!
The average daily temperatures in February range from 67-75 degrees during the day and 45-57 degrees at night! Also, it is usually sunny most of the month with a possibility of a few cloudy days!
The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception is inside!
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation or if we initially put a plus 1 on your invite.
The RSVP deadline is 01/31/2021. The sooner you RSVP, the better!
We recommend that you arrive 30-45 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! Please do not be late!
Of course!!! If you need any help upon arrival, please let some one in the bridal party or the Bride/Groom's family !
Our registry is actually available on our website under the "Registry" tab!
If you want to then go for it!! After the wedding, we plan to donate all the flowers to nursing homes!
YES, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #SheWentScarbrough so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
We are not picky, just try not to wear anything white that looks like a wedding dress! We don't want anyone to take away from the bride!
We are going to do our best to accommodate everyones dietary restrictions! Please let us know when you RSVP if you do have any dietary restrictions, so we can get that squared away way ahead of time!
Mountain Shadows Resort Ceremony will be held on the Lawn and the reception will be held in the Ballroom!
Yes, there are both! Valet is should not be necessary, plenty of parking is usually available!
Have you met us? We love our food and drinks, so yes! We will have a cocktail hour following the ceremony then dinner right after!
After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures for about an hour. Guests can head to cocktail hour for some drinks and light appetizers!
If you can't make it, you will be greatly missed, but we understand. Please RSVP "No" so we can plan accordingly!
Mountain Shadows provides a room discount for guests of our wedding. Also, I highly recommend an Airbnb or VRBO because I think they are more comfortable. Please go to the "Travel" tab of our website and I have provided options!
YES! Scottsdale has an endless amount of restaurants to visit and things to do! Please visit the "Things To Do" tab and explore some of our favorite places!
