Downtown Sonoma is beautiful, lively, and has so much to offer. It is packed full of shops, restaurants, wine, parks, and sweets! Walk around and check it out!
A picturesque hidden alley of tasting rooms and shops in downtown Sonoma.
One of our absolute favorite wineries. The staff are incredibly nice and accommodating and they host lovely private tastings. This is some of Jarod's favorite wine (the critics love it too). The Adirondack chairs facing the vineyard are a great place to take in the wines and vines after a tour. The Cabernet Franc is a stand out, and honestly, so is everything else they make. They are on the Napa side of the valley not far from downtown St Helena.
An olive oil and vinegar tasting room downtown. They make everything in California!
A great local and well-known restaurant in downtown Sonoma.
This is the one, the original Williams-Sonoma location that started the national chain! It used to be a hardware store and the original owner was also the owner of that store before he started the iconic brand. Check it out, it is pretty cool.
One of our favorite restaurants in the area.
A great place to explore with some beautiful coastline views as well as some amazing road bike routes and tasty bites to eat (if you like seafood, there are some great options and Hog Island Oyster Company is just a short trek down US 1 in Marshall too). You might even find me road biking around up here during the week (let me know if you want to join!).
If big, heavy, hangover-inducing wines aren't your jam try checking out this awesome boutique producer in Sonoma. Their tasting space is just a quick hop down the street from our venue. This husband and wife team are adept in crafting terroir-driven, flavorful wines that don't have to punch above 14% abv. A very difficult thing to find in today's marketplace. They also credit the farmers that help pick their crop each year on every bottle by name!
A wine tasting room that is conveniently nearby downtown.
One of the best bakeries in California (perhaps the world)
A great breakfast stop.
If beer is more your thing, visit one of the breweries that sparked both the current craft beer as well as american sour beer movement.
A great winery to stop at on the Napa side.
A Sonoma winery that produces some great red wine.
A winery that makes some of the best Pinot in the world. Appointment only.
A great place to stop for breakfast or a snack when exploring the Napa Valley.
If you are looking for a Michelin Star meal.
Great Pinots and they have a downtown Healdsburg tasting room. Healdsburg is a great place to explore if you get tired of Sonoma!
A great winery with a cave tour. Appointment Only. This winery suffered heavy fire damage during the Glass fire of 2020 and is currently hosting their tastings at nearby wineries.
A no-frills winery with some great affordable wines. Appointments usually required.
Some great more affordable wines.
A no-frills operation that produces some amazing AVA-specific Cabernet Sauvignon from their own vineyards in several Napa AVAs.
The cafe featured in the famous Hitchcock film, "The Birds". This is also in Bodega Bay.
A great place to checkout if you are staying near downtown Napa.
Affordable small lot wines/tastings in a cute tasting room downtown.
Rent a bike and go for a spin if you have time. Northern California is home to some of the best road and gravel riding in the world. Biking to wineries is fun too!

This restaurant has permanently closed, a casualty of the pandemic. We are very sad. An amazing Asian restaurant in downtown Napa. This was Sabrina's favorite place to eat.
