The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and gentlemen should wear a nice button-up shirt, suit coat and optional tie.
We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony so that our big day may proceed without delay. Please take construction, holiday traffic, and parking into consideration when calculating travel times.
#WeAreGettingMarod (Maggie + Jarod = Marod, Maggie's idea lol)
Our wedding is strictly RSVP only, due to the room capacity of our event. We will only able to accommodate guests who receive a formal invitation and RSVP "yes".
Please RSVP as soon as possible, but no later than May 31st, 2022! You can RSVP for yourself and your family members in less than a minute on the "RSVP" tab of our website. Keep in mind that it is incredibly helpful for you to RSVP "no" if you cannot make it.
We have a hotel block at the Holiday Inn Mishawaka Conference Center. Please navigate to our "Travel" tab.
Yes! The ceremony and reception are both taking place at The Brick in South Bend, Indiana. Please visit our "Schedule" tab for the address. Here is a direct link: https://www.zola.com/wedding/jarodandmaggie/event
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures of our special day! Our only request is that you keep your phones and cameras put away during the ceremony. Our professional photographers are there for a reason, and we'd like them to capture the special moments without hands and cellphones obstructing the aisle. But feel free to capture moments at the cocktail hour and reception! Please use our wedding hashtag #WeAreGettingMarod so we can keep track of all of your pictures!
The Brick is an indoor venue. We would like to be outdoors but are too afraid of the weather.
You will be missed! Please RSVP "no" so that we can plan accordingly.
There is a small parking lot at The Brick, but it likely will be filled quickly. There are two additional free parking lots indicated on our "Travel" tab. Here is a direct link: https://www.zola.com/wedding/jarodandmaggie/travel
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
We will have a cocktail hour following the ceremony, where hors d'oeuvres and drinks will be served. During the reception, dinner, drinks, and desserts will be served.
Yes. The bar will also serve non-alcoholic beverages.
There are multiple dinner options to accommodate special diets. If you have any serious food allergies please let us know as soon as possible.
Please leave all decorations! Our decorations are hand-made by Maggie and we would like to keep them to offer to other couples getting married. We will have party favors that you may take home as a souvenir.
Yes we do! Please visit the "Registry" tab of our website, located here: https://www.zola.com/wedding/jarodandmaggie/registry As many of you may know, we recently purchased our first home, and are funding our wedding. If you prefer to give financially as opposed to buying a tangible gift, we would graciously accept your gift. Plenty of home improvements to fund!
You may bring your gift with you to the wedding, or have it shipped to us via our registry.
Thank you so much for helping to fund one of our activities! We would absolutely love it if you brought a card, especially for us to have as a keepsake for the years to come.
The reservation for The Brick ends at midnight. The newlyweds will not be attending any after-party, but that doesn't mean there won't be one...
If you still have questions, please feel free to reach out to Jarod or Maggie. We are happy to help!
