Our wedding attire is Formal aka "Furmal" to keep warm in a classy way. For those of you who have them, this is a great opportunity to dust off your long dresses, suits, and fur! If that's not your vibe, dressy cocktail attire and sport coats will work great. Please come looking and feeling your best and ready to DANCE!
Cars can be left in the Castle Farms parking lot overnight. They, however, need to be picked up between 10am - 12pm on Sunday, February 18th. The Castle Farms parking lot will be locked by gate prior to 10am. REMINDER there are shuttles provided between the Hotel Earl and Castle Farms only for those who RSVP'd for such.
No, this will be a dry wedding. ... Just kidding! We will be offering a select option of beer, wine, and spirits. The wine will be provided exclusively from Castle Farms very own winery, 1918 Cellars.
We prefer to have as few children as possible at our ceremony and reception. We are thrilled to see many of our friends and relatives starting families, so please reach out to us directly before January 1st, 2024 to discuss the best options.
We recommend renting a car or carpooling with a friend or family member. Charlevoix, MI is a very walkable town so you should not need transportation to explore Charlevoix (Please note the Charlevoix Inn and Suites is located slightly outside of downtown Charlevoix). We will be providing shuttles on the wedding day. Please prepare accordingly for the rest of the weekend. It will likely be difficult to secure an uber from Traverse City airport to Charlevoix. We recommend coordinating with a taxi service in advance.
