This is an optional welcome ski event for any skiers (or boarders) out there brave enough to venture onto the Michigan "mountains". This is where Angelle grew up skiing and we would love to get some laps in with you before the big day! (P.S. Boyne Mtn. is on the Ikon pass)

If your travel plans allow, please join us after our rehearsal dinner for drinks to kick off the weekend! We hope to welcome you to Charlevoix, MI and thank you for making the trip. The Back Lot offers a large variety of Michigan Beers, wines, and cocktails. They do not serve food so please plan accordingly. It is a short 5 minute drive from the three hotels we listed on the website. If you do not have a car/rental car, feel free to carpool or call a taxi company listed in the "Travel" section. This will be a cash bar because even though we love you, we can't afford to quench your thirst two nights in a row.

Shuttles are provided from the Hotel Earl. Please honor the pick up time your chose in your RSVP (or an earlier slot) as the two shuttles can only accommodate a maximum of 32 and 13 people. Pickup times are at 3pm (both shuttles), 3:20pm (large shuttle), 3:30pm (small shuttle), and 3:40pm (large shuttle). Pickup locations will be on E Dixon Ave, just north of Hotel Earl for the large shuttle, and outside Hotel Earl lobby for the smaller shuttle. Return trips will be available on the large shuttle throughout the night, except for 10:30-11:00pm (Bride and Groom send-off is around 10:50pm). Both shuttles will offer transportation back to Hotel Earl from 11pm to midnight.

Formal attire (long dresses and suits are recommended. If these aren't in your wardrobe, dressy cocktail attire and sport coats work great).
Our ceremony will be held in the King's Chapel at 4pm. Please withhold from taking any photos during the ceremony. We love our talented photographer and look forward to sharing photos with anyone interested. Thank you for being present and for sharing this special moment with us! Our ceremony and reception will be held indoors. Northern Michigan can get very cold in the winter so we recommend a warm jacket. Coat check will be provided.

Bring your dancing shoes! A cocktail hour will be held before the reception in the King's Great Hall. Please enjoy cocktails and light hors d'oeuvres followed by a seated dinner and dancing. Live entertainment will be provided! The event will be indoors, and there will be an outdoor balcony for those interested so please bring a warm jacket. Northern Michigan is very cold throughout February.
