Bridesmaid
Jenny and I met way back in kindergarten! I started the year late due to moving down from Virginia that summer, and Jenny says she was immediately friend-interested when they were introducing me. We were lucky to live in neighborhoods that were next to each other, as it made for easy play dates! Through the years and many different moves, growing up and as adults, we've stayed friends. Often that meant catching up once a year while Jenny was in town to pack for her many world travels and research trips, or on Christmas Eve. No matter how much time passes, it's so comforting to have a friend you've known your whole life who feels like family!

Nicole and Riley entered my life in 2007 & early 2008. We met when each dated a guy who was a close friend at the time. Is it unlikely ex’s of the same guy would become friends? Absolutely. But in that unlikely turn of events, I gained 2 best friends! It's hard to reflect back on my friendship with each without thinking of the other because so much of our friendships were cemented in carefree adventures together through our 20s. Countless late night drives, trips to Acworth lake, EC park, Roswell mill to swim and sun on the rocks, exploring random graveyards, and fun photo days. While life looks a little different for each of us now, I cannot imagine the past 13 years without them and I’m so grateful to each for being in my life now and for being such a huge part of my past as well. 🖤

Nicole and I met in 2007. Nicole is the very definition of tiny but mighty. She has a strong personality, and is also a great sounding board when you need someone to talk to or go to for advice. She's never afraid to do what she wants and walk her own path which is something I greatly admire about her. On top of 13 years of friendship and adventures, she's also been our roommate for the past 3+ years. She's like family to both Jared and me - it will be hard to adjust if she ever moves!

When I first met Riley, she was carrying a tiny pet turtle named Omi who she said was on suicide watch. If that doesn't scream instant friend crush, I don't know what does. We quickly became close friends, and have even worked together at 2 different jobs! We share a deep love of weird things, photo adventures, dirt biking, and sweets, to name just a few.

Leah is Jared's sister. I first met her at Jared's birthday party about a week and a half into us dating - when I met all of his friends for the first time as well. It's always nerve-wracking meeting the family, but from day 1 she was very sweet and welcoming. Through the years she's continued to be one of the most thoughtful people I know and I love getting to spend time with her. I couldn't ask for a better sister-in-law! She is also carrying her first child, and Jared and I will get to meet our niece in October. There is so much to be excited for this fall!
Groomsman
I first met John when he started dating my sister Leah. We met at a bar downtown called Ormsbys one night for drinks with a group of friends. Our interaction that night was fairly limited, but as we got to know each other better, we became friends. Fast forward a few years, and John has now graduated to brother-in-law status. I was honored to stand with him at his wedding, and I'm looking forward to having him do the same for me.

When Ashe and I first started dating, I didn't have much of an interest in firearms. I had been shooting several times before, but I never really "caught the bug" the way some people do. Her brother, Matt, was sure to help fix that in short order. When we're not talking guns, we're talking cars. And as a fellow Ford performance enthusiast, Matt is what we refer to as: a man of exquisite and distinguished taste. I'm excited to have him stand with us for our wedding and more excited to have a new brother!

You may notice that I don't have a best man. And that's because I couldn't possibly choose one. (Although after we first got engaged, I jokingly told them we would be having try-outs for the title.) Tyler, Ryan, and I all went to high school together (class of 2007 REPRESENT). We remained close friends through our college years as we all attended universities in Atlanta. We partied like we studied: Hard. After college we all eventually settled back in East Cobb. Over the last ~17 years, we've been through thick and thin, feast and famine, highs and lows. We bicker constantly, but we also enjoy some of the best laughs and constant support for one another. So although they will both wear the title of "groomsman" for our wedding, they're really more like brothers to me.

Ryan and I first met in high school through a mutual friend (Tyler). As we started hanging out together we developed a shared passion for motorcycles. Since then, we've been on several two-wheeled adventures and logged thousands of miles together - some more "eventful" than others! Just ask him about our Key West trip... I have called him a friend, roommate, riding buddy, and now I'm excited to call him my groomsman.

Tyler and I go way back to Spanish class in 7th grade where we were assigned to trade nick nacks we brought from home (in Spanish of course). He was thrilled to see I brought in a Goomba toy from Super Mario Bros. We share a love of all things audio and video and frequently bro-out on some video games or the latest 4K movie releases in the home theaters we've helped each other build. Tyler has been there for me since middle school, and I'm thrilled he'll stand with us on our big day.
