Meet our besties!

Nicole Thomas

Maid of Honor

Nikki and I are 2 days apart and were next to each other in the nursery (at least that's what our parents told us). Ever since then, we have been inseparable. We went from running concession stands at the hockey rink at 12, to roommates in college, then moving out west around the same time (sadly different states but still only 5 hours away).

Jack Heinsch

Best Man

Heinscher and I met when we were around 13 years old in summer hockey. When I moved to Mahtomedi my freshman year of high school Heinscher was there right away to help me get my feet wet in a new place. Over the years there have been spring breaks, college visits, and plenty of fishing trips with more already being planned.

Madalyn Wellumson

Bridesmaid

Muddy and I met at work, which quickly became every weekend together. We moved into the same apartment complex and were inseparable!

Maxfield Oelkers

Groomsman

Max and I have known each other for as long as I can remember. We would spend endless amounts of time at the rink playing hockey together. For high school we both moved away from Mora and honestly didn't talk a whole bunch over the next four years, but as soon as school and hockey was finished for the two of us we got right back to where we were as kids. Now it's duck hunting trips and fishing trips almost every year.

Rachel Betka

Bridesmaid

Rachy and I met in nursing school and were trauma-bonded from there. From studying to traveling to the new states we call home, she is one that I know will hop on a plane if I asked her to!

Daniel Peterson

Groomsman

Danny and I met as children playing hockey and for some reason something just clicked as we grew up. My winters were spent at the rink but my summers were spent riding bike around town with Danny and staying up way too late playing xbox and drinking Mtn Dew. Even with us across the country from each other for about the last 6-7 years we still managed to stay best friends and be there for each other when we need to be.

Baily Lutzka

Bridesmaid

B and I have been friends since 6th grade, she introduced me to many of my firsts, including curling my hair, dresses (that girl had the best closet for a 6th grader), and WeFest :). Fast forward to now, we got to live in Bozeman MT together for a full year, filled with so many fun memories!

Jack Gunderson

Groomsman

Gundy and I met at Mathomedi through hockey and mutual friends. Gundy was one of the first older hockey guys to take me in at Mahtomedi and from there it was a no brainer that he is one those friends you want to hold onto for the rest of your life. I will never forget my nights in the pool house or going upstairs to play knee hockey at the Gunderson home. In good times and bad throughout my life, I would hear from Gundy within an hour. He was always there for me and one of the most loyal people I have ever met in my life. It is very hard for me to imagine going through this day without him there next to me but I know he will be looking down on the night and making sure everyone is having a great night as he always would.

Madelynn Linder

Bridesmaid

Mady and I met at work as nurses and she drew me in with her sweetness and unconditional love for Zach Bryan like me (we are OGs). Mady is my stress-free friend who always has the best attitude about everything and that is what I appreciate the most!

Matthew Telander

Groomsman

The Iceman and I have known each other since we were babies. Our parents were good friends with each other so we spent a lot of time together growing up. While we didn't hang out a lot for many years we were able to keep that relationship and come back to normal post school. Now I can't imagine having a night out with the boys without The Iceman being there.

Erin Bairstow

Personal Attendant / "Something Blue"

Erin and I were forced friends as young cousins and became chosen friends as we grew older. Erin was the older sister I never had and she does a great job of leading me through life with her advice and love.

Emily Busch

Personal Attendant / "Something Blue"

Emily and I are 10 years apart so growing up she was the cousin that was babysitting me as a child, then when I went to college in the cities I was babysitting her children. She was my rock all through college and into real life. We had a stent of living together (her husband was counting the days Nikki and I were moving out) but to me, it was the best :).

Laurel Vose

Personal Attendant / "Something Blue"

Laurel was the cousin I could count on to be my yes girl. Whether I wanted her to dress up with me or get ice cream she was right by my side! It felt like I had a little sister right by my side (she even still gets the hand-me-downs).

For all the days along the way
