Head up to the Square (the block around the Capitol) and enjoy the Dane County Farmer's Market. It is the largest producer-only farmer's market in the country. The Market opens at 6:15am. The later you arrive, the busier it will be!
State Street is filled with restaurants, cafes, and stores. No cars are allowed on State Street, other than public buses, so feel free to walk through the street. On July 20, State Street vendors will bring their stores to the streets for Maxwell Street Days, a summer sidewalk sale!
The Chazen Museum of Art is an beautiful art museum located at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. The Chazen is home to the second-largest collection of art in Wisconsin: more than 20,000 works include paintings, sculpture, drawings, prints, photographs, and decorative arts.
