Don't let the name fool you, this brewery is located on the Milwaukee River with great beer, vibes, and cheese curds.
Cafe India Bay View
Far and away our favorite place to eat in Milwaukee. While the venue is casual the food is exceptional, you have to try the Samosa Chat as an appetizer. Seth's favorite dish is the Paneer Tikki Masala, Jared's favorite dish is the Chana Masala.
Milwaukee Kayak Company
Hop into a kayak and paddle your way up to Lakefront Brewery. You'll experience great views of the city and reward yourself with a nice cold one.
East Brady Street

Colectivo Coffee on the Lakefront
Our favorite local coffee shop, with fantastic views of Lake Michigan. Stop on by here in the morning and enjoy a walk along the lake or head up into the trendy East Side neighborhood. Fun fact: Jared used to live in the apartment up the hill from this location.

Our favorite local coffee shop, and the flagship location. Stop on by here in the morning and smell the fresh beans of the roaster, then go for a walk along the Milwaukee River. Fun fact: Seth used to go here nearly everyday before work and get a cold brew and a southwest burrito.
Bremen Cafe
This Riverwest hole in the wall bar has everything you need if you need a hole in the wall. This was THE spot during Seth's years in TFA. Many of happy hours were spent commiserating about the struggles of teaching and chatting with the local regulars.
Bradford Beach
For some fun in the sun on Lake Michigan.

A fantastic, unassuming seafood shack on the river.
Café Hollander - Downer
A great restaurant for an elevated casual meal. Fun fact: The universe gave us a sign that we should be together by playing the song Coffee by Sylvan Esso here in 2020. Also, our first date was across the street at Bel-Air Tacos but the food is way better here.
Kilbourn Reservoir Park
One of the best views in Milwaukee and located in the quaint Riverwest neighborhood where we first fell in love. Fun fact: the first time we kissed in public was at this park.
Klode Park
A charming beach nestled in the village of Whitefish Bay located nearby the hotel.
