Frequently asked questions
Question

How early should we arrive?

Answer

If you are not in the wedding party, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early to ensure plenty of time for parking and seating before the ceremony starts.

Question

Q: What is traditional Latin Mass? What should I expect? Do I need to prepare?

Answer

If you are unfamiliar with a traditional Latin Mass, that is okay, all that we ask is that you are respectful of the service, you are welcome to sit if you do not want to stand or kneel. This is a low mass so it will be done mostly in silence. Please be aware that many people will be praying and be prepared to be quiet during this time.

Question

Do we have to drive to the reception?

Answer

No, it is located on the premise with the church, it will be clear where it is when you get there.

Question

The parking lot by the church is full, where do I park?

Answer

There is additional parking just down the road by the event hall.

Question

I see that I am to dress modestly for the wedding and mass, what does that mean?

Answer

Please dress appropriately for the mass, for men, we ask that you wear nice pants and a button up shirt or polo. Men should not wear a hat inside the church. Hats are however permitted at the reception if you like. For women we ask that you cover your shoulders and knees, and do not show cleavage. Regarding the head coverings, while Catholic women wear them they are not required, if you wish, any kind of scarf or hat will work, however, it is not necessary.
