Sheraton Gunter Hotel San Antonio

This historic hotel (built in 1909) is right in the heart of downtown and just a half mile walk to the wedding venue. You can even walk to the venue through the river walk or take a water taxi. It is on Houston St. with plenty of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops around. We highly recommend having breakfast at "La Panadería" just two blocks away for authentic Mexican sweet bread and tortas.

If you want to treat yourself this weekend, we highly recommend the new Thompson San Antonio Hotel. It's San Antonio's newest hotel and has a trendy vibe with lots of restaurants, great views, a rooftop bar, and spa. The venue is also walking distance from the Thompson and can be reached through street level or by walking along the river walk.

The San Antonio airport is conveniently located right in the center of the city. It is only 10-15 minutes away from downtown hotels and the venue and about an $18-$20 Uber ride.
