Armstrong Woods has an incredible grove of old growth redwoods, with accessible walking trails and picnic areas. If you're inclined, there are some steeper hikes through the forest. 37 minute drive from the Plant Ranch.
Bodega Head Trail
Lovely spot for a leisurely walk along the bluffs of Sonoma Coast. Flowering bush lupines surround the eastern part of the trail, and if you're lucky a white-crowned sparrow may sing you a song. 38 minute drive from the Plant Ranch
