Third time's a charm!

Once upon a time there was a young lad, red of cheek, and a beautiful lassie. Their names were Jerry and Bastien. They happened to encounter one another at a wondrous tavern dressed wall to wall in Christmas decor. Her lady friends and his mates all danced and giggled the night away in celebration of new friendships. At the wee hours of dawn, Jared expressed his desired claim to her hand to his friends in secret. Months of budding friendship passed as the band of youths continued to enjoy each other’s company. Jared and Haley would lock eyes sporadically throughout group hangouts. One cold Saturday afternoon she looked his way. He was wearing an ugly red sweatshirt and thick framed glasses and she thought, “hmm, I think I like him!” Time rolled on, and the aroma of love was revealed on the ceremonious day of the leprechaun, behind the backyard shed. As the drinks of merriment began to fade, Jared asked Haley on a real date. They ate Brussels at Contigo, enjoyed some jazz at Skylark Lounge and belly laughed their way into a new journey together. Sometime smooshed within this timeline, our friends were all gathered around a campfire and strumming tunes on the guitar. We all egged Jared on to play a "singalong", but he said he only knew how to play "Rivers and Roads" by The Head and The Heart. The girls all squealed with delight because we loved the song! We all sang it together between bouts of laughter and funny voices. The song has remained special to us, representing the exciting, green friendships and our love to come. We will dance to this song at our wedding.
