The park is open on weekdays and weekends throughout September, and on weekends it hosts Howl-O-Scream, turning the entire park into a thrilling haunted experience. If you’re staying at Kingsmill, the resort offers exclusive Busch Gardens packages that include discounted tickets and roundtrip shuttle service—so be sure to book through them!

Colonial Williamsburg is a must-see for anyone visiting the area. Want to relax? We recommend The Spa at Williamsburg Inn in Colonial Williamsburg. This luxurious spa offers a full range of services, including massages, facials, body treatments, and salon services, all designed to help you unwind and recharge. It’s a wonderful option for a peaceful, pampering experience during your stay. The spa is approximately 15 minutes from Kingsmill Resort. Kingsmill Resort also has a great spa on property, so you can enjoy relaxation without leaving the resort as well.

If you’re looking for fine dining, Fat Canary is one of our favorite restaurants in Colonial Williamsburg’s Merchant Square. The restaurant is small, so we recommend booking a reservation in advance.
Berret's Seafood Restaurant
Want seafood? Another favorite of ours in Colonial Williamsburg’s Merchant Square is Berret’s Seafood Restaurant and Taphouse Grill. We love their live music and oyster happy hour. The restaurant can fill up quickly, so we recommend making a reservation in advance.
The Cheese Shop
Casual lunch? The Cheese Shop is a 757 staple and a must-visit in Colonial Williamsburg’s Merchant Square. Be sure to try a sandwich on their classic baguette with house sauce. They also have a charming takeaway shop featuring cheeses, charcuterie, wines, and specialty foods.

Looking for a brewery? Check out The Virginia Beer Company, a popular brewery and beer garden in Williamsburg.
