Are children allowed to attend the wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, we ask that children are not intendance (15 and under). Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

What time does the wedding start and what time will it end?

Answer

The start time of the celebration will be 4:00 for ceremony. The reception will end at 11:00pm.

Question

Will there be transportation from the hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will have a shuttle to and from the venue. The shuttle service to the venue will begin one hour before the ceremony. The shuttle service back to the hotel will begin one hour before the reception ends. The shuttle will depart and return to Courtyard by Marriot Milwaukee Downtown.

Will the ceremony be outside?

Answer

If weather permits, the ceremony will be outside. If weather does not permit, the ceremony will be located inside at the same location.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal wear. Please be in mind, July is hot in Milwaukee! Luckily, we are close to the lake so there is a nice breeze. The ceremony will be on grass, so it is highly encouraged to wear block heels for the ladies. Bridesmaids colors are greens and pinks.

What is parking like for the hotel and venue?

Answer

The hotel does charge a $22 daily parking fee. If you plan to drive directly to The Cooperage, please note that parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis, and we are not permitted to reserve spots in advance. The Cooperage shares its lot with another establishment, so spaces can fill up quickly. There is street parking along S Water St right by The Cooperage. Uber/Lyft is very accessible in Milwaukee and is another suitable means of transport to and from the venue. We will have a shuttle service as well (see other FAQs!). If you have any concerns about parking, please feel free to send us a private message.

Where do I go after the reception?

Answer

Our wedding will finish at 11:00pm. Within the same building, Boone & Crockett will be open until 2:30am. There are various after reception locations nearby in Walkers Point along 2nd st or downtown Milwaukee is close by.
