FAQs

Question

What are your Covid protocols?

Answer

The wedding venue, ceremony & reception are entirely outside. The ceremony will take place in a meadow, dinner under a tree canopy and dancing in an open air barn. If inclement weather, there will be a tent. The only inside building is the individual restroom. We encourage anyone attending to please be vaccinated, and if you are feeling sick please do not come (I promise we understand!). Since vaccines are not available to 12 and under, we've made the difficult decision to have no children allowed at the wedding. We will have sanitizer available, and masks are welcomed.

Question

What is the wedding theme?

Answer

Our wedding theme is southern gothic, inspired by New Orleans. Upscale, dark chic. Wedding colors are black, dark purple, dark green and brass.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

4:30pm

Question

What kind of venue is the ceremony and reception?

Answer

All activities at the venue will be outside. The ceremony will be in a meadow, the dinner will be under trees, and dancing inside an open barn. If rain, there will be a clear top tent for dinner and the ceremony and reception will be in the barn.

Question

Are costumes allowed?

Answer

As much as we love Halloween, no.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dressy Casual. No costumes. The entire event will be outside in the evening, so we recommend comfortable shoes to wear on grass and gravel. Please no t shirts, tank tops, shorts or jeans.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to Delta variant and vaccines only available to 12 years and older, we made the difficult decision to not have kids at the wedding.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony / reception?

Answer

Yes. The Wildflower Barn has a free parking lot on premise and their staff will direct you to the correct place to park.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have two hotel blocks until September 22, 2021 at Comfort Suites Kyle and Best Western Buda. More details on blocks can be found at https://www.zola.com/wedding/jared-cassandra/travel We recommend when looking for places to stay either in Dripping Springs or Wimberley, both of which are within 20 mins of the venue. There are lots of cute boutique hotels and airbnb's, so we recommend booking early since it's peak wedding season!

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please let us know in the RSVP.

For all the days along the way
