On February 15 Cory picked Jaquette up for their first date. It was probably the longest first date ever, but quite dreamy... We headed out to ski at Eagle Beach. After a few hours in the cold sun, we headed back to Cory's place to warm up with hot tea and chat before heading out for a yummy dinner at the Island Pub. Then walked over to the Perseverance Theater to watch the play Whale Song. That's where Jaquette made the move... she grabbed his hand. He held on tight for the rest of the play. Following the play he made a detour before saying good night. He stopped at the Mendenhall Glacier for a starry walk on the ice under the moonlight to an amazing view of the glacier. That night he broke the 3 day rule to text her and tell her what a great day he had. She agreed. Both twitterpated they agreed to meet for a little bit before she headed back to Gustavus the next day.

Well, well, well, things arent looking so good. We have decided that it would be best to cancel our reception plans.
