Wedding Party

These are some of the most important people in our lives. Faith and Jordan are blessed to have such an incredible support network that has been there for them through thick and thin. Please take a moment to read through the introductions for each of these special people.

Faith Johnson

Bride

One of my first memories of Faith is when I saw on her Instagram that she was hiking four 14ers in one hike. I thought she was crazy. I still think that's crazy, but it's one of the things I love about her - her determination and desire to achieve. Faith is extremely organized and an incredibly caring teacher. She was blessed with the patience that I was not. I continue to learn from Faith's empathy for others and am attracted to her ability to be a leader. One of my favorite things to do with Faith is travel, we have been to so many places and experienced so many things together, I can't wait to do that with my best friend for the rest of our lives. - Jordan

Jordan Jantzen

Groom

My first few memories of Jordan took place over Zoom & Instagram (a true Gen Z love story). Jordan was quarantining in Nebraska and created daily "refrigerator videos" where he placed his phone in the fridge and pulled out bizarre objects from the frame. Jordan's sense of humor had me both laughing and scratching my head at where his ideas came from. When we began to meet in person for our work with Student Senate, I was immediately impressed by his drive to serve his constituents with excellence and truth. Jordan was (and is) very intentional about the people he brought into his circle. I once commented that "I feel like I'll never get to know Jordan, he's so private!" The Lord has a funny sense of humor too. I had no idea that Jordan would one day become my best friend & husband. -Faith

Katelyn Johnson

Maid of Honor

Having a sister is definitely like having a built-in friend. As kids, we would play with our dolls, and Webkinz... and as we grew older, we relied on each other for things like hair and makeup. There were many hours spent over the years practicing the latest beauty trends on ourselves. When we moved to Colorado, I found myself relying on her friendship even more. We have taken many trips to Dutch Bros, Garden of the Gods, coffee shops. and thrift stores around our area. Katy is very creative, from the things she makes, to Goodwill finds, to her room decor, to her clothes. I have admired her keen eye for beauty in all things. I am so excited for Katy to serve as my Maid of Honor in this special season. I know she will celebrate Jordan and me well, and truly help bring my vision to life.

Michael Jantzen

Best Man

One of Michael and Jordan's first adventures together was clogging the toilet to get their mom's attention because their baby sister was taking too much away from them. Called twins for a few years until Michael separated himself vertically from Jordan, Michael has been a true brother to Jordan. Michael has the heart of a lion, the compassion of Florence Nightengale, and the spunk of General Patton. Michael serves as an EMT and wants to go into Law Enforcement in the near future. Jordan would not be here today with the support and love of his brother, who has walked by his side throughout Jordan and Faith's relationship.

Courtney Requist

Bridesmaid

Courtney has played a huge role in Jordan and I's relationship from the beginning. Not only did she hire us to be on her team prior to our meeting, but she was often the middle-man for us in the early stages of flirting and dating (sorry Courtney, I know that was a lot). I value my relationship with Courtney immensely. She is driven, passionate, and a bit of a goofball. Most importantly, she is a fierce friend, an advocate, an encourager, and a joy to be around. There have been many times that I have sought her counsel, and she has always been gracious to share her insight with me- even when in the middle of a professional meeting (sorry again). Jordan and I are thrilled to have the Requists part of our Wedding day, we wouldn't be here without them.

Joshua Norholm

Groomsman

One of Jordan's first friends from Kindergarten, Joshua and Jordan grew up in the same homeschool group, Awana team, and most anything else. Joshua has served as a rock in Jordan's life, a cheerleader that Jordan treasures. Joshua is currently looking to work in IT, but you won't find him far from underneath a car or snapping a few photos.....of cars ;).

Mia Presley

Bridesmaid

Mia is the kind of best friend movies are made about. Mia and I have been friends for nearly 15 years. Yes- you read that right. We spent many nights dancing to the Jonas Brothers, One Direction, and Justin Bieber, complete with hairbrush-microphones and cheap face masks on our faces. Mia has been a faithful friend for most of my life. She is honest and down-to-earth, always willing to speak into the various situations I bring to her. Our friendship has weathered many of life's challenges over the years. Despite living across the country from each other, she continues to be a cheerleader and confidant. It is truly a dream come true to have her at my side on my big day.

Dylan Bricker

Groomsman

Dylan and Jordan met in middle school youth group but didn't really talk much until a Sunday morning conversation during Senior year where Jordan realized that Dylan was a staunch conservative. Jordan and Dylan spent three years together at Cuesta College, taking 6 classes together over that time. Some of their favorite memories include nominating Donald Trump as Time Magazine Person of the Year in 2016, learning about the Sunfish, editing presentations while they were on the projector, and not paying any attention in Accounting together (It's okay, Mom, we still passed the class with a B). A text chain about politics, sports, or airplanes is a daily occurrence between Jordan and Dylan. Dylan is an incredibly deep thinker and has been a loyal friend for Jordan.

Izzy Kamptner

Bridesmaid

Izzy and I met when there was a seat open next to her in the packed CCU auditorium that I happened to take. We were roommates from 2019-2021 (crazy times). Our hobbies included dancing in the kitchen, watching the sunrise at Red Rocks Amphitheater, working out EARLY in the morning (I don't know how we did that), wandering the aisles of Trader Joes, watching The Bachelor, and driving into the mountains to find the coolest local coffee shop. Anyone who knows Izzy is blessed- her witty humor will have you on the floor laughing, and her rich writing will have you looking at the world with greater empathy, and understanding. She has been a cheerleader for Jordan and I from day 1- often debriefing our dates and texts with me (TY for that). I can't wait to have her a part of our Wedding day.

Michael Hutcheson

Groomsman

The first time Michael and Jordan sat down to get to know each other, the interaction lasted 4 hours and we both realized how scary it was that we had so much in common - even down to loving Peppermint Ice Cream. Michael, who is a brilliant engineer, has served as a common-sense sounding board for Jordan time and time again. Michael is very grounded and ready to discuss theological fine points and always ready to laugh at the craziness of the world.

Leah Jantzen

Bridesmaid

One of my favorite memories with Leah took place back in April of 2021. She had a couple of hours to burn during a layover in Denver, so I picked her up and we went out for burgers and ice cream. It was during those few hours that I really got to know Leah and her heart for others. I was immediately impressed by her interest in STEM, and her ability to talk with me about anything from being a Christian in a public school environment to Pride and Prejudice. Though we've only known each other for a short time, I know that I have a great friend in her. Her relationship with Jordan is something that I have admired for quite some time. I am thrilled to be gaining another sister, and to have her apart of our special day.

Marcus Colasuonno

Groomsman

Marcus was placed in Jordan's room at CCU in the Spring of 2020 and quickly Jordan was struck by Marcus's wholesale passion for Jesus and a genuine love for people. After their time at CCU was cut short thanks to an unnecessarily resilient virus, Jordan and Marcus were roommates again for the 2020/2021 school year. It was during this time that Marcus and Jordan grew closer and Marcus specifically challenged Jordan spiritually, a time that aided Jordan to prepare unknowingly for his relationship with Faith. Marcus and Jordan have spent many an evening debating theological issues, the world's status quo, and how we can best be Jesus to those around us. Marus has a caring heart for people and wants to use his nursing degree to serve those in Africa who most need medical help.

Nicole Mulkey

Bridesmaid

Nicole and I met through CCU Student Senate. As a chaplain, she provided spiritual support to our team throughout the year. After our initial meeting, we realized that we were both from the DFW metroplex! Our Texas roots and love for Jesus made us quick friends. Even at the beginning of my relationship with Jordan, she would ask me hard questions about our commitment to the Lord and each other. I appreciate the candor and guidance that she still gives to me to this day. Recently, Nicole has become a weekly guest in the Johnson house. We love having her join us for dinner and discuss anything and everything from politics, to ministry to the Bachelor. Jordan and I were thrilled to attend her wedding in June 2021 and we can't wait to have her a part of our BIG day!

Janson Requist

Groomsman

Janson was the first person at CCU to ask Jordan to have dinner with him one on one. Janson and Jordan have similar upbringings and passions and their mutual respect became a friendship as Jordan worked alongside Janson's wife, Courtney, with Student Senate. Together, Janson and Courtney have been some of Faith and Jordan's loudest cheerleaders. The four have spent numerous evenings eating french fries at Red Robin, playing Catan (the alliance of the Jansons/Jantzens is strong and mighty), or traveling for the day to see the Mormons. Janson has been steadfast support for Jordan and has always been willing to listen and speak into Faith and Jordan's relationship when requested. Janson is excelling in the legal field and has the desire to one day become a judge.

Alec Tanaka

Usher

Alec was one of Jordan's first roommates and friends on campus at CCU. Together they were direct roommates for Jordan's second year on campus. They share a love of sports and cheering on the seemingly forever-lost Denver Broncos organization. Many an hour of 2k and FIFA has been played, with Alec holding a 90% winning record over Jordan (We all know how hard that is for Jordan, ha). Alec has served as a steadfast friend for Jordan, often serving as a sounding board for Jordan as he processed life and the beginning of Jordan and Faith's relationship. Alec, who is a brilliant accountant, just started working full-time in Colorado Springs.

Ben Wilson

Usher

Ben has an aura of fun that surrounds him. The party starts when Ben enters the room and he is a joy to have around. Ben was roommates with Jordan and Alec for the first year they were on campus together. Ben has been a great encouragement and cheerleader for Jordan. Ben is finishing up school at CCU and is currently working in insurance, but stay tuned because the entrepreneurial spirit is strong in this one.
