FAQs

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that everyone please RSVP by mid-September for our catering counts. Please reach out to Ryan or Andrea if you have any specific questions.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Check in at the Brympton starts at 12:30 and closes at 1:30pm. If you need special accommodations to arrive after 1:30pm, please contact Andrea and Ryan at your earliest convenience to make arrangements with the Brympton House staff. The Library Bar will be open to guests starting at 3 pm. We invite you to enjoy the House and possibly a game of snooker. If you have any specific questions about the schedule of events, please refer to the Schedule section on the website.

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Brympton has a dedicated parking lot on premises that is free of charge.

Question

Is there space at the Brympton for everyone to stay?

Answer

Yes! One of the benefits of hosting the event at the Brympton is that everyone will be able to stay on site and enjoy the venue. There is a link to reserve your room that we will send out once you have RSVP's to the wedding. We do ask that no one book the main house the night of the wedding. We are reserving those rooms for family and members of the wedding party. So, please don't book the block unless we have reached out to you in advance about doing so. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is formal.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

What do a box of chocolates and weather in the English countryside have in common? You never know what you are going to get! Expect temperatures to be somewhere between 50°F and 65°F. And, of course, there is always the possibility of rain.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Brympton House is a beautiful venue and we hope you find some time to enjoy both the House and the grounds. The ceremony and the drinks reception will take place outside, barring poor weather. The wedding breakfast (aka dinner) will be hosted indoors.

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

With the exception of our niece and nephews, our wedding will be an adults only event. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you.

Question

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Answer

We invite you to please take and share as many photos as you like throughout the day. With that said, we would like the ceremony to be a no phone event and politely ask you refrain from taking photos during that time.

Question

Breakfast is included?

Answer

Yes, a buffet style breakfast is included with your room that will take place in the Brympton's Star Chamber.

Question

What if I have more questions?

Answer

Please don't hesitate to reach out to Ryan or Andrea if you have any questions we haven't answered here!
