Directions
a) By plane HMO airport has flights from/to the US cities of Phoenix, and Los Angeles. Domestic origins include: Chihuahua, Cd. Juárez, Cd. Obregón, Culiacán, Guadalajara, Los Mochis, Mazatlán, Mexicali, Mexico City, Monterrey, Tijuana and Torreón. Major airlines are American Airlines, Aeromexico, Delta, Interjet, Volaris, Vivaaerobus. b) By car The road from Nogales (the border) down to Hermosillo is a well paved, new highway, however, reconstruction and maintenance are very common so be prepared to take the designated detours. There are two toll roads: 1) Nogales-Magdalena de Kino ($25MXN / $1.30USD), 2) Magdalena de Kino-Hermosillo ($65MXN / $3.30USD). Hermosillo is about a 7.5 hour drive from Phoenix, Arizona, about 4 to 4.5 hours from Tucson, and about 3 hours from Nogales, Sonora. That is assuming you drive the speed limit and the border crossing is not congested. OptionA: Fly to AZ then drive to Hermosillo. OptionB: Fly to some main airport in MX then fly domestic to HMO.

a) En avión El aeropuerto de HMO tiene vuelos desde/hacia Phoenix y Los Angeles en EUA. Destinos nacionales: Chihuahua, Cd. Juárez, Cd. Principales aerolíneas: American Airlines, Aeromexico, Delta, Interjet, Volaris, Vivaaerobus. b) En carro El camino de Nogales (frontera) hacia Hermosillo es una carretera nueva y pavimentada, sin embargo es muy común que haya reconstrucciones y debes estar preparado para tomar desviaciones. Hay 2 casetas de cobro: 1) Nogales-Magdalena de Kino ($25MXN / $1.30USD), 2) Magdalena de Kino-Hermosillo ($65MXN / $3.30USD). Hermosillo se encuentra aprox. a 7.5 hrs manejando desde Phoeniz, AZ, 4 a 4.5 hrs desde Tucson, AZ y unas 3 hrs desde Nogales, Sonora. Asumiendo límites de velocidad y cruce de la frontera no muy congestionado. OpciónA: Vuela a AZ y luego maneja a HMO. OpciónB: Vuela a un aeropuerto principal en MX y luego vuela nacional a HMO.
