FAQs

If you have any other questions please feel free to reach out to us directly.
Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

You can RSVP for the total amount of people it states on your invitation only. If it includes you and a guest, than yes!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We really love your kids... we really do! However, we would love for you to have the night off and enjoy the evening with us. We plan for our wedding to be an all adult affair with the exception of limited circumstances.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

RSVP is required and you must respond no later than October 11, 2021. It is important that we know exactly who are coming so we are well prepared for you to arrive at our wedding. For those who do not RSVP and attend, you may be turned away due to not enough seating. We would really hate for that to happen so please plan ahead and RSVP. We have made it easy for you to send in your RSVP here on our website. See the RSVP tab on the top right of our site. The RSVP tab will be visible once invitations have been mailed. The name on the invitation will be needed as you go through the RSVP process. We are saddened for those who aren't able to make it but understand that traveling to Arizona may not be available for everyone. If you are not attending, please respond to the RSVP and decline our invitation. Your presence will be missed. Due to Covid-19, we understand there have been many changes for traveling. Please notify us if you need to make changes in your RSVP as soon as possible.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We suggest you arrive at the ceremony at least 20-30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time. This should give you enough time to park, sign in and seat yourselves. It is a small intimate venue and parking should not be a problem. Parking is free and we suggest you to carpool. If you are planning on drinking we urge you take an Uber or Lyft for your safety.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes we do! Please visit the Travel tab on our website for our recommendations and information about blocked hotel rooms. For those who have been asking, we reside in Peoria, AZ (West Valley). We have included hotels all around the valley for your convenience to help plan your stay. Hotel reservations need to be booked by a certain time frame, please plan ahead.

Question

Monday? Why is your wedding on a Monday?

Answer

The vast majority of you are traveling from out of state. We did not want for you to rush flying or driving in on a Friday night to make it to a Saturday wedding. We wanted Sunday to be open for preparation of our big day and have our traveling guests have the time to settle in. Most important, our son in heaven, Eli Tatum Salvador, was born at 8:22 P.M. 11/22 is a perfect two double digit date for extra luck and will have so much meaning to us in the years to come.

Question

Do you have a wedding hashtag for social media?

Answer

Yep! Our wedding hashtag is #NellyAndEdSayIDo. Another fun hashtag is #AboutTimeSalvador and the hashtag we use often is #NellyAndEd. Don't forget to tag us and hashtag away on all your photos during our wedding.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail Attire: Wear cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, and dark jackets and slacks. Ladies- You may want to consider wearing comfortable shoes with wider heals as the ceremony and reception is on a turf lawn. Arizona weather is hit or miss and may be chilly during the evening. Checking the forecast prior to arriving is recommended.

Question

Questions related to COVID-19

Answer

In light of COVID-19, we wanted to let you know our wedding is going forward as planned. There may be a change in the guest capacity allowed at the venue and we are keeping a close eye on this matter and will keep our guests up to date if there are urgent changes to be made. We ask that you bring a mask and be mindful with social distancing. If you are not feeling well or have a fever the day of our wedding, as much as we would love for you to be there, we respectfully ask for you to not attend for the safety of all guests. As always, your health and safety are our top priority, and we completely understand if you’re no longer able to attend and have changes in your RSVP.
