We're getting married!

We were a blessed, one in a million match on a dating app that Janna found herself on, looking for a guy she had met at church who said that he was talking to another girl he matched with. She found that guy from church but realized that she would not date him as his profile did not match hers and was very vague, just like most dating profiles in this world. However, the moment that she saw Darin's dating profile while searching for another, it was unexpected, but she knew that he was the one. His profile was detailed, heart-felt, and genuine that he was looking for a girl that loved Jesus with all her heart. From the moment they matched, the spark was there from the beginning as they wrote texts to each other in novel paragraphs. Many of Janna's loved ones always complained that she wrote texts that were too long and grammatically correct as if she were writing an essay and Janna was always sad that no one could match her communication style. Then she met Darin and he matches it perfectly, responding in exactly the same way in which their conversations could go on for hours, days, months, into eternity. They finally met in person on October 5, 2024, at Piedmont Park in Atlanta, GA to go to a farmer's market. Darin was incredibly sweet and patient as Janna was over 30 minutes late due to parking issues. He tried to find her but somehow, they missed each other along the way and Janna ended up telling him that she would watch the ducks by the lake while he circled back - soon enough, he did find her! On the 2nd date, Janna opened up even more about her story to Darin and they lost track of time, talking with each other at Downtown Decatur, GA for more than 4 hours. He told her months later and at the time of the proposal, that he walked away from the date that day, knowing that he wanted to marry her. Fast forward through many ups and downs in their relationship to February 7, 2026, when Darin officially got down on one knee to ask her to marry him. There are no doubts at all that this is a perfect match made in heaven as Darin and Janna have already been doing life together, are completely compatible in every way, and they love every moment together and all the memories they make. Now it is merely time for the title of husband and wife to catch up with how they already love, care, and support one another and to exemplify and represent the love that Christ shows the church, glorifying God through marriage.
