During my freshman year of college at USC, I first met Kush at East Quad dorms to hang out with a group of mutual friends on a random Thursday night. But this was just the beginning! In the first two years of college, we became best friends and began to take classes together. I was always tutoring Kush with Anatomy and he was always tutoring me with Math. Over the course of these two years, our friends constantly teased us about being a couple. I thought the idea was crazy at first. I first started looking at Kush as more than a friend and more of a life partner when I started to ask him to come over and hang up blinds or save me from a bug that I found in my room. He never complained once. In 2012, he and I finally decided to see if we actually had any chemistry and we have been inseparable ever since!

On our annual anniversary trip, Janki suggested that we visit Denver, Colorado because we had been talking about it forever. I remembered, Janki always wanted snow for her proposal, little did Janki know that I was already planning the proposal for the end of September. Out of the blue, Janki decided to move the trip up an entire month. Somehow and some way, I planned a dream proposal at Sapphire Point right under her nose on short notice. To make it even more difficult, Janki decided this was the one day she did not want to dress up or get ready for the day trip to Breckenridge. Luck was on my side as Janki ended up ruining her clothes and ended up having to change and get ready. Janki ended up looking perfect right before the special moment with the best and most sneaky photographer to capture the beautiful memory. As a final surprise, some of our closest friends and family members were able to join us for this special weekend. It was truly a dream come true and Janki could not have asked for anything better.
