How do I get to the party?

Answer

Take the uptown N train to the 30th Avenue stop, from there it's a 1 minute walk. Please be aware that this Station is not ADA Accessible. You will have to come down 4 flights of stairs. The Astoria Boulevard stop has an elevator though and is only a 6-7 minute walk away.

The Party will be held at Elke and Alex' apartment - 6th floor outside space. The ground floor of the building has red awnings that say 'Don Coqui'. Look for the entrance ON 31st Street by 28th ROAD!

Is there parking in Astoria?

Answer

You might be lucky on the street but parking is limited in this area. The closest Garage is at 31-37 31st Street at Astoria Central Parking. Rates $20-$30 for up to 12 hours. From there it's a short 5 minute walk. -We’ve seen some street parking on 31st street, pay meter till 7pm available between Broadway and 30th Ave. **

Is there a dress code? What should I wear?

Glad you're asking: Yes, the dress code is called COLORFUL! If you think you look too flashy please add more colors. Wearing a suit won't be necessary. We know you‘re creative!

We'll tie the knot at City Hall earlier in the week. This shall be a party!

The apartment building has an elevator. The bathroom is roomy.

Do I need to be vaccinated against Covid-19 to attend?

This is a hard YES! We know that almost all of you are vaxxed and numbers are low but we are going to check with the rest.

We would be most happy about contributions for our honey moon.

Answer

There is a 50% probability that it will rain. We will have tents set up and there is the inside space that we can utilize. The party will go on, perhaps dress accordingly

Will there be food or should I eat before?

Answer

There will be an open bar and buffet including vegan and vegetarian options. There won’t be a sit-down dinner.
