FAQs/Mexico Travel Tips

Additional questions and concerns will be addressed here. Please check periodically as we will be adding information up to the wedding month!
Question

What international travel documentations do I need?

Answer

Below is a link to complete your immigration documents from your computer and print them off. There is an additional Customs document that will be provided on your flight into PV. HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU BRING BLACK INK PENS - the airlines do not provide pens. https://www.mexicotouristcard.com/

Question

What are the dinner food options?

Answer

Will we be sending out enclosure cards with the invites for each guest to select their main dish. In the meantime, below are the options: 1. Chicken with a light chipotle sauce (not spicy). 2. Steak with mushroom sauce and back sliced potatoes. 3. Catch of the day (fish) with a fresh caper butter.

Question

How much money/pesos should we bring?

Answer

I suggest $300 American to start, the converts to approximately 1,500 pesos. There is an ATM on the resort that only dispenses American dollars but can be converted at the resort, if needed.

Question

How many pesos does it typically cost to get from the airport to the resort?

Answer

When we visited in July 2021 it was 345 pesos to get to the resort.

Question

Do we need money for the resort?

Answer

Yes and no. Although, all drinks and food are part of the resort cost I suggest bringing tip money. Better you tip the more consistent service you will get. There are also on site activities (paddle boarding, kayaking, etc) that cost money outside of the resort package. As well as a gift shop/convenient store to purchase souvenirs and day to day needs.
