Do you have a COVID-19 plan?
Answer
We are taking COVID seriously and are implementing the following protocols to make sure we can all celebrate safely! Visit http://covid.janicetrapsryan.com for our COVID requirements and FAQ. It includes mandatory test (which we will provide) for everyone, including guests, servers and event staff. We'll also be requiring masks too at the indoor events.

When should I RSVP by?
Answer
We would like to get RSVPs by September 1, 2021. If you need more time, just let us know by emailing janicebtran@gmail.com

I'm not vaccinated. Can I come?
Answer
We are requiring all guests to be fully vaccinated. We would love to see you virtually though! Please update your RSVP status to attending the virtual event (last page) and get the zoom link emailed to you! We won't judge if you're in sweat pants.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Yes. Please see the "Schedule" page for the dress code for each event. The wedding itself is cocktail attire. Men don't need to wear ties. No jeans at the wedding, unless you're a never-nude.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
We are starting right at 4pm! Please be there 15 minutes early.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
Kids can attend the outdoor events but with the virality of the Delta variant, we would encourage only adults to attend.

Can I bring a date?

Probably. Please check with us if you are bringing someone outside of your RSVP

What kind of food will you be serving?
Answer
The food theme is "Southern Classics". We've tried to not deep-fry everything. Dinner will be served buffet style.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?
Answer
Yes! Please let us know on the RSVP of any food allergies. The food will be served buffet style but we will try and make substitutes.

Who's in charge of the music?
Answer

Where is the Wedding?
Answer
See the "Schedule" page for details. The wedding ceremony will start at 4pm at Merchants Hall, located at 36 North Market Street, Charleston, South Carolina. The cocktail hour and afterparty is across the street at Henry's On the Market.

Is there parking by the wedding venue
Answer
There’s a public lot directly behind Merchants Hall that costs $12 a day, and a number of parking garages in the area.

Answer
Yes, please see the "Accommodations" page for the discounted room blocks at the hotels we handpicked for our guests!

Is this wedding indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will be entirely indoors at Merchants Hall. The cocktail hour and afterparty will be at Henry's On The Market which has a large rooftop patio and indoor spaces.

What is the weather like?
Answer
October in Charleston is beautiful! The weather will be around 77°F / 25°C. Not too hot but not too cold.
Question
Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
No, there are no pre-arranged shuttles. However, if you are staying at the Cambria hotel, there is a complimentary shuttle offered by the hotel that brings you close to the venue.
