The Wedding Website of Janice Gurrola and Abraham Colin
We decided on Durango because we wanted you to know a little bit more of our culture and experience truly what being in the heart of a Mexican town feels like. Durango is the capital city of the state of Durango, in Mexico. It’s known for its historic center, with important colonial and Mexican baroque buildings. Pictured above is where the religious ceremony will take place. Begun in 1695, the ornate Cathedral Basilica has sacred art and carved wooden interiors.

Flight

American Airlines

Durango has limited flights. The best one out of the USA, is flights out of Dallas, TX.

Flight

Volaris

Volaris, has flights to Durango at a very inexpensive price. You can take flights from Tijuana using the CBX which is a border cross airport only 30 mins away from San Diego's airport.

Rental Car

Hertz

KM.15.5 DURANGO GOMEZ PALACIO
Durango, Dgo. 34319, Mexico

Travel Note

Make this a vacation!

You can also make this a vacation to the beach or major city. Mazatlán is 3 hours away from Durango and it fairly easy to get to & from Durango. You can also fly to Mexico City if that interests you and there's also direct flights from there.

Travel Note

If you are travelling from Las Vegas

The easiest way and economical way to travel to Durango if you only want to go there directly is going to be by using the CBX airport in San Diego. We typically get a flight from LV to SD and then an uber to CBX. Volaris has flights from there going directly to Durango which are only a 2 hr flight. The only thing is that these flights tend to be super late at night or early morning. We have listed their website. Check Volaris.com to find flights.

For all the days along the way
