Tired of partying? I dont blame you. The Key West Botanical Garden Society is governed by an all volunteer board of directors and has been the “keeper of the trees” since 1988. The society preserves, develops, expands and maintains the historic, 15.2-acre Key West Botanical Garden as an arboretum, botanical garden, wildlife refuge and education center. The land is owned by the City of Key West. The garden showcases flora native to The Florida Keys, Cuba, and the Caribbean and emphasizes cultivation of threatened and endangered species of the Florida Keys. Open 10am-4 daily, even on weekends.

Sunset Celebration is a nightly arts festival at Mallory Square in Key West, Florida. The participants of this Key West attraction consist of arts and crafts exhibitors, street performers, food carts, and of course the thousands of tourists from around the world who visit this Key West art show. Each night around one hour before sunset masses of people, both locals and tourists alike, flock to the water’s edge to experience a multicultural happening and to watch the sun sink into the Gulf .

It was personally one of our favorite locations within Key West, as there are so many shops and things to see. It's also where CVS is located and easy to pick up things you're missing on your trip.

The Hemingway Museum is open everyday 9:00am-5:00pm for walk-in visits. If youre an Ernest Hemingway fan and a cat lover this one’s for you! You get to explore a garden as well and learn about his legacy. If you choose to come earlier in the week, it is a walk in only place, no reservations, and it is not open on the weekends.

Fort Taylor is a nice and affordable attraction when you're visiting Key West. There is an entrance fee but it allows you access to the entire park which includes a fort, beach and hiking trails. You can enter by car, bike and foot.

Dry Tortugas National Park is a national park of the United States located about 68 miles west of Key West in the Gulf of Mexico, in the United States. The park preserves Fort Jefferson and the several Dry Tortugas islands, the westernmost and most isolated of the Florida Keys. The archipelago's coral reefs are the least disturbed of the Florida Keys reefs. The park is noted for abundant sea life, tropical bird breeding grounds, colorful coral reefs, and shipwrecks and sunken treasures. If you are intrested in going please be aware of the fees and travel times by ferry and seaplane to get to the park.
