From the Borgo you can reach many vineyards and olive groves within 10 min and famous villages such as Volterra, Certaldo, San Gimignano, Siena and the Chianti Region in between 30 min. to 1 hr.
Cycling is quite safe, you can cycle your way into Terricciola, Peccioli, Lari, Casciana Terme and Chianni.
Pisa International Airport (PSA) is 35 mins. away by car and Florence International Airport (FLR) is less than 1 hr away.
The Ocean is 40 min. to 1 hr. away by car depending where you choose to go, you can reach Marina di Pisa or Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi and so on all within 1 hr. drive.
