This is a decision that we have made to protect our loved ones that needed help making an impossibly hard decision. By doing a no mask wedding we are helping eliminate the grey area of wanting to come, but not truly being comfortable. One thing many people overlook when trying to make a mask or no mask decision is the grey area that we are worried about for everyone, including drinking, eating dinner & dessert and other various times in the evening when you would potentially remove your mask and put yourself at risk. We want everyone to stay in the safety of their homes and join us via zoom and those who are one hundred percent comfortable with the situation to join us in person! We know this is going to upset some of you, it upset us as well, but this is a decision we had to make to protect your lives, not your feelings... we love you all and we hope you can find it in your hearts to respect our decisions just like we will respect yours.
YES! The barn at fairview acres is on top of this. They have ten staff members on duty during the entire day of the event to wipe down all universally touched surfaces and keep things as sanitized as possible. In addition to that they have 32 foot tall ceilings with a state of the art ventilation system that filters 20,000 tons of air and keeps the air quality comparable to being outdoors!
