How We Met

We met at a party through mutual friends, and never thought much about it. Over the next couple of years, we saw each other more and more. I had the biggest crush on Nick, and little did I know he felt the same way. After a few months of him trying to convince me to go on a date and me blowing him off a few times, I finally agreed to go out with him. He took me to his company Christmas party (where he introduced me to everyone as his friend...), and then we went to another friend's party afterward. It didn't take more than a couple more dates after that for me to know that I finally met the man I was going to marry!

The Proposal

11.30.19

For several months we had began to dream about our future together, little did we know our plan included our beautiful daughter, Addison. I had always thought he would propose to me after she was born.. I had no idea he had other plans! He bought my ring one night and the next day made an excuse to stop by my parents house on his way home from work. Little did I know he stopped to ask my parents for their blessing to propose to me. He had been so giddy all week, but I didn't have a clue why. It was near Christmas time so he had all the best excuses when it came to shopping for my "gifts". The night after he got my parents' blessing, we went out to dinner with a couple friends. He had been so excited he couldn't wait any longer to pop the question! He got down on one knee at our house later that night and asked me to marry him! Of course, I said YES! After that, he poured his heart out to me, saying all of the right things. The most memorable thing he said was how he wanted us to officially be a family so I could have the same last name as him and our baby because I was the rock of our family. (Little does he know, he is most definitely our rock!) Knowing how excited he was to ask me to be his wife made it even more special. I couldn't have asked for a more special evening.

HoneyFund

We know it’s not traditional, it’s not the way it’s done.. But instead of pots and pans, we’d like a little fun! So if you'd like to give a gift to help us celebrate, Some help towards our honeymoon we would appreciate! The choice is really up to you, and we would like to say.. the best gift we could receive is you here on our wedding day! Thank you!
