FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 18, 2025. If you need to change your response, that's okay! Just please let us know as soon as possible.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We're registered on Zola, the very website you're on right now.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 5:00PM, so please plan to arrive between 4:30PM and 4:55PM.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

There is no strict dress code, but cocktail attire is encouraged. Note that Septembers in Los Angeles are still pretty hot, so keep that in mind when planning your attire.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Maybe! If you have a plus-one, this will be indicated on your invitation.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Kids are welcome! We just need to know if, and how many, you're bringing. If you've got kids, they're included in your invitation. If you've got some sort of secret baby we don't know about and therefore didn't include them on the invite, let us know and we can update your invitation.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the travel section of our website for info on accommodations: https://www.zola.com/wedding/janelle-dylan/travel

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Vidiots is located in a residential area, so there is limited street parking. If you're driving to the venue, make sure you're not blocking any driveways, or your car WILL be towed. We recommend carpooling, rideshare, or public transportation if possible (if you're in NELA, try the Micro Metro! Very convenient and CHEAP!).

Question

What's on the menu?

Answer

Due to our unique venue setting at a movie theater, there won't be a traditional sit-down dinner. You can expect charcuterie during cocktail hour, and unlimited popcorn and soft drinks all night long at concessions. Each guest will also be able to enjoy one box of candy per person. As far as our dinner menu, you can expect the following as passed apps: -Endive salad (GF and vegetarian; can be made vegan if requested) -Blue cornmeal sable with butter (Vegetarian) -Fried chicken skewers with honeycomb -Steak and purple potato with horseradish cream -Onion and potato pierogi with sour cream And, of course, we'll have wedding cake and some other sweet treats.
