A popular tourist attraction to see the beautiful Torii gates and learn more about Japan's culture.
This temple is just a few walk from our venue. Kiyomizudera Temple offers a commanding view of the city. The temple's stage, supported by massive pillars, is one of the most famous images of Japan.
You can't miss the popular Arashiyama Bamboo Forest if it's your first time in Kyoto. The streets get busy in the afternoon though :)
This garden is SOO beautiful. We were happy to stumble on this underrated garden near Arashiyama forest. You'll appreciate the beautiful autumn colors while you take a quiet and peaceful walk in the garden. Like the garden ticket said, "We hope you find Buddah here."
Beautiful temple near Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. Gets crowded easily though, but still worth a visit.
Stroll along Nishiki Market to enjoy some food, shopping at local stores or just be there for the local market vibe.
If you liked our gallery photos, then give this Buddhist temple garden a visit. Our photographer brought us here, and it felt really magical. Another underrated temple where you can appreciate the autumn colored trees without the noise.
We ditched Nara Park or Universal Studios to see the Katsuoji Temple, and must we say that it was WORTH IT. Really nice place to walk around surrounded by beautiful autumn trees and the popular Daruma heads! Super cute. "It is not Daruma, it is DARUMAAAA!"
If you plan to visit Katsuoji Temple, then might as well hit Minoh Park/Minoh Falls! We did both the same day. If you need a break from the city, then you can give this place a visit. Note: It is a 40-minute walk to the falls from the bus station. But there are lots of food vendors and local stores along the way.
Oishi park is one the perfect spots to see the Mt. Fuji! We LOVED this park. You get to see the beautiful Lake Kawaguchiko as well! Such a romantic vibe. This would be a good day trip from Tokyo city! Then go see the Maple Corridor :)
If you are at Tokyo and want to catch a beautiful fall foliage, go do a day trip and see Maple Corridor at Lake Kawaguchiko. No further explanation. JUST BEAUTIFUL and MAGICAL.
Shibuya Sky for that 360 view of Tokyo city!
