Our story began in 2013 after college. We not only landed at the same company in the Los Angeles area, but we were on the same team for about a year. That first year gave us the opportunity to build a strong friendship. When Janel had car trouble, Matt was there to help. When Matt needed to buy a birthday present, Janel took him shopping. It wasn't until Janel was changing companies that we thought there was something more than friendship. The two of us found ourselves across the country from each other for our first New Years. Matt was in Michigan for the holidays and Janel was ringing in the New Year in Las Vegas with friends. When Matt’s family friend bet Matt wouldn’t surprise Janel in Vegas, Matt bet that he wouldn’t pay for a flight. The family friend slammed down a wad of cash on the table and Matt was in Vegas that same morning. It’s been eight years since we met and there have been countless adventures. Through the good and the bad, we know we make a great team. We can’t wait to celebrate our wedding day with you!
